What is Women’s Retreat?: Women’s retreat is a weekend designed to let women refresh and renew their walk with the Lord. It is filled with praise, worship, wonderful speakers, great meals, and plenty of fun free time activities. There is an opportunity for you to participate in a mission project. Chat with old friends and make some new ones. Highlights include a watermelon slurp, hay ride, and a beautiful candlelight service. Come enjoy fun and fellowship on the mountaintop. Open your hearts to a weekend of encouragement, faith building, and God’s love.
Friends of the Heart - 2018 Guest Speakers
Kim Messinger, Janine Boyer, and Shirley Brosius will share their love for the Lord and guide us to see what might be blocking us from becoming all God calls us to be. Through encouragement, skits, messages, songs, and a dramatic presentation, these friends have a passion for opening women’s hearts to the joy we have in Christ.
This year’s retreat is based on people from the book of John.
It addresses a subject to which we can easily relate – clothes!
If Our Closets Could Talk - 2018 Theme
The theme for 2018 is "If Our Closets Could Talk". Through large group worship times, presentations by Friends of the Heart, and small group discussions we will peek into our life’s closet.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION AND EVENT INFORMATION
Registration: Please DOWNLOAD THE REGISTRATION FORM, complete it and return it to the address on the form to register and order T-shirts.
* The non-refundable deposit is $25 to defray costs of late cancellations.
Cost of Weekend: The cost of registration is $99.00. This includes 2 nights lodging in dorm style cabins, 5 wonderful meals, speaker sessions each day, and free time activities including but not limited to hay ride, craft, and bonfire. Registration cost after Aug 1st is $109.
Special Saturday only price: $48.00 includes Saturday speaker sessions, all free time activities, lunch, dinner, and candlelight communion service.
T-Shirts and Sweatshirts with Logo: Short and long sleeved T-shirts and pullover sweatshirts are available for sale. The color of the shirt is purple with lilac print. Size and cost is listed on the registration page. Please be sure to circle the correct size and enclose the proper fee. Orders received after July 23, 2018 cannot be guaranteed.
Picture permission: Please sign the registration form to permit use of your picture in the memory book, on the website or in promotional materials.
Handicapped Accessible: There are handicapped facilities available at Pine Cabin. Women with handicap placards only are permitted to park at the cabins.
Transportation Service: There will be a vehicle designated for each cabin for those needing shuttle services to all activities.
Scholarship Fund: We don’t want finances to hinder anyone. We want every woman to be able to come to the mountaintop and experience all that God has intended. That is why the scholarship fund was created. God has provided for us so that we can provide for others. All that is required is the $25 deposit (this is negotiable-if needed). Then pray about what you can afford and indicate that amount on the form. We will cover the rest of the registration. T-shirts and Memory Books are not included in scholarship amounts. Arrival and Departure: Friday registration begins at 4:00 PM. Cabins are not open until then.
Saturday registration is at 9:15AM. Sunday dismissal is at 12:00 PM. (No lunch served).
Directions to Camp: Camp Allegheny is 80 miles east of Pittsburgh on Rte. 30, midway between Ligonier and Bedford, Pa. From Pa Turnpike, take Somerset exit 110; follow Rte. 281 North for 10 miles to US Rte. 30 at Stoystown. Proceed 5 miles east. Camp will be on right. From the west, take Rte. 30 to Reels Corner. Proceed 3 miles to camp entrance on the left
