Womens Retreat AUGUST 23 – 25, 2019

What is Women’s Retreat?: Women’s retreat is a weekend designed to let women refresh and renew their walk with the Lord.  It is filled with praise, worship, wonderful speakers, great meals, and plenty of fun free time activities.  There is an opportunity for you to participate in a mission project.  Chat with old friends and make some new ones.  Highlights include a watermelon slurp, hay ride, and a beautiful candlelight service.  Come enjoy fun and fellowship on the mountaintop.  Open your hearts to a weekend of encouragement, faith building, and God’s love.

LuAnne Baker - 2019 Guest Speakers

LuAnne does a variety of Biblical portrayals.  She has presented portrayals throughout the United States, to all denominations and venues. She states, “God has been so good, allowing me to do this type of ministry for Him.  As the Lord gives these portrayals to me, I listen to Him, start writing, memorizing, then presenting.  The rest is up to Him.”

LuAnne is honored to serve as the Western PA Great Commission Women’s District Director.

She has traveled on three short-term mission trips, two to Jamaica and one to St. Lucia, where she ministered with an evangelistic team in orphanages, nursing homes, schools, revival services, and individual homes.

LuAnne is a retired secretary from the Purchase Line School District. She enjoys walking, gardening, horseback riding and traveling (especially going to the beach).

In the Looking Glass: Face to Face with Jesus - 2019 Theme

One day we will see Jesus, face to face. Can you imagine it? The beauty? The joy? The love? The grace?

Whatever we imagine will pale in comparison to that moment, but won’t you come try with us?

“For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.”
— 1 Corinthians 13:12 (NIV)
