View our promotional video!

Camp Allegheny is set in the beautiful Laurel Highland Mountains. It is located on the “Seven Mile Stretch” of Route 30. Camp Allegheny truly is a place “where you can reach up and be touched by God.” Campers will come to a true appreciation of God as they experience Him in His creation. Whether swimming in the pool, climbing a rock face, or learning to trot a horse, campers will have the opportunity to make new friends, build relationships with other Christians, and grow in their relationships with God! With all-around camps and special interest camps, we are sure that we have a place for you and your family in our Camp Allegheny family. Experience the excitement that can be found when we pursue God together!

The Camp Allegheny Christian Wrangler Program

Check out our exciting Christian Wrangler events! Camp Allegheny has developed events, activities, and a curriculum that will do so much more than simply teach good horsemanship. It will use your relationship with your horse to help you develop strong values, and a deeper understanding of God. While progressing through the Christian Wrangler Program, campers will have the opportunity to achieve certification through the Certified Horse Association. The Certified Horse Association (CHA) is a national organization which publishes teaching material and provides training for horse staff. It is the only nationally recognized Horsemanship certification program.

All riding activities and games are planned according to the riders experience level and skills. With multiple levels, campers progress over the years from beginning concepts and riding skills to being a well educated and trained Christian wrangler. Camp Allegheny’s returning campers, as well as new campers with prior experience, will start at the appropriate level in this program. If you are looking for more information on this great new program, please email us or call the camp at 1-888-251-0771.
