Annual Work Day

For years Camp Allegheny has been blessed to have volunteers from churches around the conference volunteering their time to build, repair, clean up, and otherwise help maintain our grounds and facilities. Last year we were blessed to have over 10 churches participate and complete many projects, including the building of picnic tables and an awning over the side door of the Camp Center, putting the wood siding on the Heartwood Center, and cleaning up the grounds and mulching around buildings. Projects typically considered more "feminine" such as sewing curtains or helping to "Spring Clean" a lodge are available, too. So if you are more inclined to that sort of project, don't think we have nothing for you!

We have projects for all group sizes and skill levels. We will need to know the size and skills of your group in advance in order to properly prepare for you. If you love Camp Allegheny and want to give something back, this could be the perfect opportunity.
